Enclosed is a copy of TR-02 and some re-
lated correspondence.
Grand Mesa's letters to the Division dated June 17, 1986 and
October 23, 1986 requested that the subsidence monitoring program
be discontinued. The Division's letter to Grand Mesa Coal Com-
pany dated December 24, 1986 approved Grand Mesa's request to
suspend subsidence monitoring. The finding's document for the
permit renewal, dated July 29, 1988, confirms that the subsidence
monitoring program is officially in temporary cessation.
If you have any questions regarding this data, please call.
Sincerely,
Jim Stover, P.E.
Chief Engineer
Enclosure
