Tom Kaldenbach, Reclamation Spe~ialicY <br />JAN 0 8 2001 <br />Re: 4th Quarter 2006 Surface Subsidence Inspections piyi~,,,i~ of Reclamation, <br />4th Quarter 2i)Q6 Iuntington DOnS Mininy and Safety <br />Dear Tom: <br />Inspections of areas over mined-out of the areas of the King Coal Mine revealed no new evidence of <br />subsidence cracks <br />An inspection and subsidence survey was performed on December 13, 2006 by Tom Kaldenbach, <br />CARMS- Henry Austin, OSMRE, and. Clint Sandlain, NKC, of the Crawford Ranch in the vicinity of the <br />stock pond, in the Tipotsch coal lease area. 'This area was undermined approximately one year earlier. <br />The workings in this area are approximately 350 feet below the land surface and have been sealed. The <br />crar3rs appear as they have. in devious inspections.
