• SECTION 4 -SEED TAG INFORMATION AND APPROVED <br />REVEGETATION MIX <br />RULE REQUIREMENT <br />RULE 2.04.13(1)(a-f) <br />• 2.04.13(1) by February 15, or other such date as agreed on, each permittee shall <br />file an annual reclamation report covering the previous calendar year for all areas <br />under bond. The report shall include, but not limited to, text, discussion and maps <br />which address: <br />o (a) the name and address of the permittee and permit number <br />o (b) location and number of acres disturbed during that year <br />o (c) location and number of acres backfilled and graded during that year <br />o (d) location and number of acres topsoiled during that year <br />o (e) the species, location and number of acres of vegetation planted during <br />that year, including any augmented seeding or cultural practices <br />o (f) location, number of acres and date of planting for all previously <br />revegetated areas <br />The species of plants seeded on Colowyo's 2005 reclamation areas follow the approved <br />seed mixture located in Volume 1, page 2.05-44 through 2.05-46. <br />The Division regulations contain consistent themes that mine operations and reclamation <br />are to be conducted in such a way as to minimize adverse environmental impacts and <br />ensure that reclaimed lands will support the approved postmining ]and use. As part of <br />Colowyo Coal Company's Best Management Practices, Colowyo will apply herbicides to <br />the land For the control of known weed species. Chemicals applied within the mine <br />permit boundary. <br />GENERAL DISCUSSION <br />Seed Mixture - Colowyo's Reclamation Seed Mixture tables are found in Exhibit 4A. <br />Seed Tags - 96.7 acres were seeded during the report period. <br />Seed Purchase Invoices - No additional seed was purchased in 2005. Areas were <br />reclaimed and the invoice is located Exhibit 4C. <br /> <br />
