Box 178 Division of Minerals&Geotogy <br />San Luis, Colorado 81 152 <br />Subject: March 2000 Water Sampling Results <br />Dear Mr. Gray: <br />The Shalom Ranch domestic well and the Rito Seco headgate were sampled on March <br />21, 2000. The water was sampled as outlined in paragraph 26 of Battle Mountain's Water <br />Decree, Case No. 89CW32. The analysis reports are attached. <br />The three pairs of lysimeters located west of the tailings disposal area have been <br />checked bi-weekly April 1992 through March 1996 and quarterly since March 1996.
