<br />1999 Annual Report for Permit M-1985-029 <br />Alma Placer <br />During the past yeaz approximately 3 acres were affected in bonded area # 1. Thi included <br />approximately one acre on the far north boundary of bonded azea # 1 and approxi ately 2 acres <br />in the middle of bonded area # 1. Both azeas were placer mined by excavating th in-situ <br />material and running it through a portable screening plant. On the north end oft azea, the <br />waste material was used to backfill and reclaim an area outside of the permitted a ea as identified <br />in the Declazatory Order received from the Colorado Mined Land Reclamation B ard during the <br />May, 1999 meeting. In the middle area the rejector screened material was kept o site as per the <br />approved mining plan. The attached map illustrates the extent of disturbance this year within the <br />approved affected area (highlighted in green) as well as the azea reclaimed to the orth of the <br />permitted azea (highlighted in orange). <br />In addition, a technical revision was approved for limited screening and sales of g avel from the <br />approved affected and bonded area. This revision has not been implemented on a ground to <br />date, but will likely commence during the upcoming year. As no activity has occ ed to date, <br />this area is not shown on the attached map. <br />
