Last year we forwarded a proposal to
manage the seepage and obtained the necessary regulatory approvals to reopen the adit
and manage seepage water through evaporative spraying and irrigation application of
water on the 9360 bench area immediately outside the adit portal.
The adit was reopened last Fall and the existing adit plug partially removed such that we
could gain access to monitor the seepage and develop a plan to address the issue.
Those evaluation efforts are underway at the present time and we will be contacting
you when a remedial plan proposal has been developed. Seepage commenced during
mid- May and continues at the present time. Flows reached a peak of approximately 60
gpmc and is presantly 't sprro::i•••a,ely half th,+, rare 134 SFPnI, wo o%aect flntAls *_o
diminish further over the next several weeks.
If you have any questions regarding the present activities at the Bulldog site, please
contact me in our San Francisco office; my direct line telephone is 415.983.8180.
Very Truly Yours,
cc: F.
