<br /> Notice of Intent to Continue Mining Operations <br /> 112c Construction Materials Annual Report <br />Permitted Name: PC Management LLC ^ <br />E~Vt~ <br />{~~ <br />PermitNo.: Ii <br />M-1997-098 <br />Operation Name: Flag Creek Mine <br />Anniversary Dale: March 30, 1998 MAR 2 8 2000 <br />Total: 550.00 (enclosed) <br /> Division of Minerab 8 Geology <br />Pernitted acreage: 140 acres County where mine is located: Rio Blanco <br />The attached map details the current disturbances of affected land and shows the plan for the next operating season. <br />New areas disturbed in 1999 include a new road approximately 15 ft wide and 1500 R long, and a 30 fl wide by 100 <br />ft long tutu around at the end of the road. This road has been extended about 200 ft south beyond the tutu around at <br />this time. Moss rock and flagstone were recovered along this road extension during constmction. Regular mining <br />operations continued at the main slide area. <br />Proposed new disturbed areas for the 2000 season include a continuation of the road about 1200 ft to the south with <br />another switch back and a 1500 ft extension of the road to the north. This will allow the proposed terrace mining <br />operation to start about 50 ft below the top of the hogback <br />Reclamation completed in the 1999 season included the following: <br />Hand broadcasting of the NRCS recommended seed mixture along the new and existing roads and [he staging area. <br />This included all water bars, berms, and new cut and fill areas. All seeding was performed between October 15 and <br />November 15, 1999. <br />Reclamation planned for the 2000 season includes the following: <br />Reseeding of all newly disturbed cut and fill areas, water bars and berms related [o tkte proposed roads, and <br />reseeding of any areas reclaimed in 1999 that need additional attention. Reseeding will begin in October 2000. <br />The proposed mining season for this year is April to November. <br />
