COLORADO <br />HOLNAM INC. <br />=1!!= =1/l - _ !l! _ - !ll = _ 111 = _ !!l - - 111 = _ l!l = <br />Cuts 1 K2 The vegetation on both of these cuts continues to do well the grasses have <br />done well with about average rain fall <br />Cut 3 Grasses and volunteer plants (Cottomvoods and Tamarisk) as in Cut 1 & <br />2 are doing well The five trees transplanted in 1993 continue to grow <br />Cut 4 The west end of this cut was prepared for grass seeding and the Cement <br />Kiln Dust deposition has stopped <br />Cut 5 Sand mining has been discontinued in this cut Overburden from Cut 7 <br />has been placed in this cut. <br />Cut 6 Cement Kiln Dust is still being deposited in this cut, but it is rapidly <br />closing. The west end ofthis Cut was planted with grasses which have <br />benefited from the above average rain-fall Volunteer plants such as <br />Cottomvood, Tamarisk, Yellow Sweet Clover and sunflowers are found in <br />almost every area where water has been able to collect <br />Cut 7 Mining continues in this cut A ne~v sand pit has been established in the <br />southern end. <br />Cut 8 Mining is complete in this pit Preparations for Cement Kiln Dust storage <br />will begin in the near finure <br />Cut 12 Mining has commenced in this cut <br />
