Permit No. 83-33, Annual Report Our files indicate that the a~tniversary date for this permit is June 23. Construction of the entrance road has continued in Stage 1. Some of the material from the entrance road area is being used in construction of the acceleration/deceleration lanes on U.S. 6. These lanes are scheduled to be complete within the next 18 months. We have been in contact with Pir. Bert Weaver of the Clear Creek Planning Department with regards to the pending final a ppcoval. of the O.D.P. We expect to have this final approval before the July Board Hearing. The county has placed certain restrictions on the uses of Stages Pe, Pw and A. Please refer to the Annual Report map for the locations of areas discussed in this report. 47e will deal specifically with each of the Annual Report questions as outlined in Section 2.41 of the Rules and Regulations. 2.41 (1) Construction of the entrance road in Stage 1 has continued this year. Approximately 3.00 Acres have been stripped in preparation to the commencement of mininy according to the approved mining plan. Stages Pe and Pw are still in use with backfilling in Staye Pe to be completed within the next year. Storage of growth medium began on Stage A this year. Approximately 3.00 acres have been disturbed in 1984-1985 (see map, areas colored yellow). With mining continuing in the 3.08 acres +/- disturbed last year. As mining opens a larger work area, material storage areas will be relocated in the mine proper. (2) No reclamation was required during this time period.
