As required by CRS 34-32.5-116, we are providing this Annual Report for the Lupton Lakes Sand and Gravel Mine,
DRMS file M-2004-078.
The extent of current disturbances:
The mining operation began in the spring of 2006. Approximately 32 acres are disturbed (refer to the attached
mining plan map):
• +/- 20 acres for the plant site
• +/- 2 acres for the entryway landscaping
• +/-10 acres for the fresh water and silt storage pond.
Reclamation accomplished to date and during the preceding year:
No reclamation has occurred on the site.
New disturbances anticipated to occur during the upcoming year:
Lafarge anticipates that they will mine approximately 10 acres in 2007 (just east of the fresh water/silt storage area)
Reclamation that will be performed during the coming year:
It is not anticipated that any reclamation will be performed during the upcoming year.
Dates for the beginning of active operations:
Active operations began in early June 2006,
Date active operations ceased for the year, if any:
Not applicable.
