APPROXIMATE ACREAGE TO BE RECLAIMED IN NEXT REPORT YEAR:
57.0
Mining during the report year continued on this permit site in the southern location of
Area 1, where it was completed for mining in the eazly part of 2006. Please refer to the
attached Annual Report Map. Mining also commenced into Area 5 where it was
completed up until the scalehouse and shop. No seeding or revegetation was
implemented on this permit site, as the overburden stockpile is in vazious stages of
disturbance with the addition and subtraction of material.
Mining during the next reporting year may continue in Area 5 to the east to the approved
limits of mining, or the shop building may be left as part of the final reclamation of the
site to water-storage. Reclamation during the next reporting yeaz should be implemented
as complete reclamation to a water storage facility.
Per the requirements of this permit, attached are groundwater-monitoring results for the 3
monitoring wells located on the permit azea that we aze still monitoring. Because no new
areas have been opened up with dewatering trenches, all monitoring wells (located
outside of the permitted mineable azea) have shown that water levels have stabilized and
no fluctuations aze occurring. Upon final reclamation of the site, all nearby water levels
will return to normal.
