Operation continued as approved in the July, 1985 Amendment. This is a quarry operation, as a result we remove large amounts of material without disturbing large areas of land. Please refer to the Annual Report map for the locations of areas discussed in this report. We will deal specifically with each of the Annual Report questions as outlined in Section 2.41 of the Rules and Regulations. 2.41 (1) No new land was disturbed this year mining continued in the area previously stripped in Phase 1. Total disturbance to date in Phase 1 is 10.77 acres ±. We currently have 3.36 acres ± stripped, or 1.41 acres ± less than last year (brown). the floor and side bench areas increased by 1.41 acres as the face of the mine moved into the stripped area. The current face area is approximately 1.44 acres (yellow). The scale and scale house were moved into Phase 1 at the entrance to the quarry this spring. Backfilling continued in Phase Z as approved. Total disturbance in all stages is 18.50 acres ±. (2) We started removing equipment stored in Phase Z to facilitate final filling and regrading (green). The scale house and scale was removed from Phase X (pink). The roadbase stockpile in Phase A has been removed in preparation for reclamation (gray). Minor amounts of backfill were placed in the valley on the eastern side of Phase 1 as approved (blue). o, ~~„ .1~~'"~~\4V
