The purpose of the inspection was to assess the
compliance of the facility with the minimum standards of the Solid Waste Disposal Sites and Facilities
Act, Title 30, Article 20, Part 1, C.R.S. as amended, and the Regulations promulgated thereunder, 6
CCR 1007-2 (Regulations). Byron
Walker, with the State of Colorado Division of Minerals and Geology was also present. We first
inspected the operating records, which were found to be well organized and comprehensive.
We then accompanied Don MacDonald to observe the facility operations. We left the site office at
11:30 a.m.
