Hbtfner:
?dining in Stage 1 of the mining plan was carried out as scheduled.
Affected were six acres, more or less. Run-off in the spring of
1978 was more than adequate to refill Stage 1 with material, so it
was not necessary to move into Stages 2 and 3 (please refer to
map C-2 in the original application).
We plan to mine the same acreage in the coming year that was mined
last year.
No reclamation is called for in Stages 1 and 2 until after the
first run-off following the last mining season. It is impossible
at this time to estimate when that will be as we will continue to
mine as long as the demand for sand and gravel exists and/or the
river fails to refill the excavated area.
Attached is a check for $50.00 to cover the annual fee. Please
sign below to indicate your receipt of this ?dotice of Intent to
Continue and the check, and return one copy of this letter to us.
S'ncerely,
~~
Jack R.
