Long
Drviswn Ukeclor
The Division of Minerals and Geology (DMG) has received the Annual
Reclamation Report for the reclamation activities that occurred during 2000 at the Marr
Mine and Walden loadout. Last yeaz DMG had requested Kerr to report the depth of
topsoil that was replaced on the loadout and on the shop/warehouse area that was
topsoiled in 1999. Please provide the replaced topsoil depths. All other requested
information has been included in this report.
Based on my site inspections, it appeazs the weed control measures aze making a
difference and helping to control the thistle and other weeds. In a couple of areas, it may
be necessary to plant additional seeds where the thistles were dense and there is very little
vegetation cover remaining. The areas will be field checked this summer.
DMG will plan to conduct a bond release inspection in June for the aeeas Kerr
applied for in Bond Release application SL-02. I will contact you in April to schedule a
date.
Please contact me if you have any questions regarding this letter.
Sincerely,
~~7~~Gt
/
Sandra L.
