The location and number of acres affected
during 1987 will remain as presented in the 1983 permit amendment applica-
tion. Please note, however, the timetable set forth on pages D-4 and D-5
of the permit amendment application indicated that 104,000 cubic yards
would be placed on Stage one of the west pile over a 4 year period; to
date, approximately 51,000 cubic yards have been placed in this area.
Currently, it is anticipated that the stage one timetable will extend an
additional 5 years beyond the original 4 year projection.
There were no new areas reclaimed since the last annual report period. The
approximate 2.0 acres of affected land at the east waste pile area, re-
ported in the 1984 Annual Report to have been fertilized and revegetated,
continues to indicate successful growth of the planted vegetative species.
In addition, please find enclosed the annual report map which refl=_cts the
current configuration of the stage one west waste pile development.
If there are any questions, please contact me.
Sincerely,
~~-~,9-
Timothy C.
