<br /> <br />1999 ANNUAL REPORT FOR THE SPECIFICATION AGGREGATE QUARRY PERMIT <br />NO. M-74-004 <br />During the reporting period for this operation, two areas were actively mined located in <br />the north and south central areas of the quarry, as shown on the annual report map <br />accompanying this report. Including 74 acres used for stockpiling and the plant airea, <br />approximately 132 acres exist in an area of disturbance also consisting of locations that <br />have been mined and not reclaimed, active areas of mining, and areas prepped for <br />mining. <br />Approximately 5.7 acres along one bench in the western and northern areas of the <br />quarry were backfilled and will be seeded during the next reporting period. <br />Approximately 4 acres were backfilled and 2.5 acres of that total were seeded in the <br />south area of the quarry during the reporting period. Approximately 1.5 acres were <br />seeded on the south side of the "knob" being mined in the north-central portion ot'the <br />quarry. <br />During the next reporting period, mining will continue in the central and south areas of <br />the quarry. Total reclamation efforts at this quarry have been very successful. <br />
