1
' If•1PACT AfJD FUTURE 140NITORING
1
fJo significant unpredicted adverse impacts were detected from the 1983
' hydrologic monitoring program. The only significant variation from the
predicted impacts was the less than predicted declines in the White
Sandstone. This is probably not due to any unexplained change in the
hydrologic environment; but, is instead due to a change in the
' interpretation of the data. At least one more year of data will be
required to properly evaluate this condition. Because there were no
unpredicted adverse hydrologic impacts in 1983, no mitigating measures
' or additional monitoring not already outlined in the permit have been or
will be instituted.
' With up to three years of data from some monitoring stations some
conclusions about the necessity for monitoring some of the parameters
have been reached. We believe that the parameters indicated on Table 43
do not have to be monitored any more. Over the period of monitoring the
' table indicates that no significant natural source of any of these
parameters have been detected and Empire Energy does not employ anything
in its operations that could produce measurable quantities of any of
' these parameters.

LJ

1

' -6-
