<br />Wallace Pit <br />Exhibit "B" <br />Mining Plan <br />The brush end trees that need to be removed will be disposed of in <br />accordance with local regulations. <br />The topsoil which varies in depth from 0 to 4' will be removed from <br />the East and South portions of the site and stockpiled in the Southwest <br />corner. <br />The gravel will be removed by front end rubber tired loaders beginning <br />about the center of the pit and working toward the South and East. The <br />material mined will be transported to the crusher in the Northwest section <br />of the site by these came loaders. <br />It is estimated that the gravel to be removed is 15' to 20' in depth <br />which strual~ leave the reclaimed finished elevation at about 7540' which <br />is a little above the South end of the site. The gradient of the pit <br />floor will be in this Southerly direction on a 1% to 3% slope. <br />Transportation of tfie stockpiled gravel will be by truck over the <br />existing roads. <br />There will be no surface water or water rights involved. No water i <br />i <br />table is expected to be encountered. Water will not be used in the operation „ <br />I <br />unless required for dust control. The area involved and the total affected <br />i, <br />I <br />area will be less than 9.9 acres: '• <br />We intend to crush in this pit about 60 days per year and remove <br />gravel all year depending on the demand. <br />The material to be produced will be sold commercially and used on <br />Mountain Gravel contracts. <br />Approximately 10,000 to 20,000 cubic yards will be mined annually <br />
