Measured
parameters included pH, conductivity, temperature,
total dissolved solids, total suspended solids, total
iron, and total manganese. Sampling results are
summarized in Appendix D. Their ]options are shown on
Exhibit I. All known springs in the lease area are
shown on Map 36 in Volume 5 of the M and R
Plan.
In accordance with U.S. Forest Service (USES)
stipulations, a map o[ USES water resources has
been included az Exhibit IV. Table 3 summarizes
Seasonal meazurements (three times per year) of
pH, conductivity, temperature, total dissolved
solids, total suspended solids, total iron, and total
manganese were taken at each of the seven springs.
Measured flows, field parameters, and the resulu
of laboratory analyses are presented in
Appendrx F- Maximum and minimum comparisons
are presented in Appendix E Bar graphs depicting
spring flows from 1979 to the present have been
included az Appendix G.
Of the seven springs, only springs G-14, G-16,
G-20, and G-24 were sampled during 1991. Flows
at the other three springs were either nonexistent
or insuffirient for sampling during ail three sam-
pling periods. Consequently, water quality data are
available only for springs G-14, G-16, G-20, and
G-24.
Groundwater Monitoring
'1\venry-three wells were monitored during the
1991 water year (!'able 4).
