It should be noted that we did not observe any adverse drainage or geotechnical conditions at the time of <br />our site visits, with the exception of the standing water at the toe of the north face of refuse pile. Based on <br />our part-time observations, it appears that the waste coal materials that were recently produced, were being <br />stockpiled and/or placed and compacted in general accordance with the project plans and specifications. <br />As suggested in our previous quarterly report, the water levels in the monitor wells installed on October 23, <br />1997 and December 9, 1999 were measured during this quarter on a monthly basis.
