HalevAld rich.com <br />Haley & Aldrich, Inc. has completed the Geotechnical Addendum for the 2002 Notice of <br />Intent to Continue-Mining OperationslAnnual Report for the Morrison Quarry. The <br />Addendum is being submitted under separate cover by Haley & Aldrich to the Colorado <br />Division of Minerals and Geology (DMG) to supplement the annual fee filing and Annual <br />Report form submittal made by Aggregate Industries made on 31 December 2002. <br />The Geotechnical Addendum was prepazed in accordance with the Observational Approach <br />presented in Aggregate Industries' Mine Plan Amendment Nos. 4 and 5. Work included <br />general observations of highwall and slope conditions at the Morrison Quarry, geologic <br />mapping of exposed rock faces at several final cut slopes established during the reporting <br />year, and comparison of observed conditions with baseline conditions assumed during design. <br />It has been our pleasure to continue working with you and with Morrison Quarry personnel to <br />provide ongoing geotechnical stability evaluations and mine plan modifications.
