The predicted values are presented in the Kaman
Tempo Report on pages 68 and 69. The report states that prior to
mining, Ward Creek had an average TDS concentration of 214 mg/1 and
an average SAR of 0.9.
Minrec agrees to Sample Ward Creek for TDS and SAR during 1994.
This sampling should confirm that the Red Canyon Mine has not had
an adverse impact on the quality of water in the creek. The
sampling will be performed at the upstream and downstream sampling
stations during the low flow period in September.
If you have any questions, please call.
Sincerely,
Jim Stover, P.E.
Chief Engineer
