Su rface Water Discharges
r
There were no surface water discharges from Sedimentation Pond Outfalls 001,
003, 005, 006 or 008 during the period from October, 1984 through December,
1984. Treated effluent from the wastewater treatment plant (Outfall 007) was

discharged during the period. Discharges also occurred from Outfalls 002 and
' 004 which are the respective normal dewatering outlets for Sedimentation Ponds
MB #1 and MB #2.

Analyses presented below show monitoring results required under NPDES Permit
'
No. CO-0038776 from di scharges from the wastewater treatment plant. One
' exceedence of the BOD, 5-day ef fluent limitation (BODS) and to tal suspended
solids (TSS) limitation occurred during November. Two follow-up samples were
' taken in November and analyzed for BODS and TSS. Both samples showed the
parameters to be wel l under the Mt. Gunnison NPDES permit effluent
'
limitations.
