Based on our limited observations, it appeazs that the pile is being constructed in <br />general accordance with the project specifications. <br />As suggested in our previous quarterly report, the water levels in the monitor wells installed on October 23, <br />1997 and December 9, 1999 were measured during this quarter on a monthly basis. A table/graph showing <br />the monthly water levels is attached. <br />We were advised that the mine had produced approximately 89,750 cubic yards of waste coal during this <br />quarter and [hat approximately 10 to l5 percent of the total amount consisted of fines that were no[ placed <br />in the pile.
