Ca

Deat Bazbara:
Enclosed is the Annual Report for the past year for The Cazol Ann Pit of B&B
Excavating, Inc., including map and report form. Past records show that the annual date
for the pit is September 8 of each year. The fmancial warranty for the permit is $20,500
and the total permit area is 30.0 acres. The mining and reclamation plan is phased.
The following information is provided to comply with Rule 2.4.1:
(]) Approximately 8.5 acres of new disturbance occurred in the past yeaz as shown on the
annual report map. In the earlier year, 1.0 acres of disturbance occurred so that the total
disturbance at this time is 9.5 acres. Most of the new disturbance occurred east of the
unnamed drainage although a small depression was expanded west of the drainage to
supply access road material. All salvageable topsoil was stockpiled as shown on the map
and as was required by the permit. A sediment collection sump, berms and silt fence were
also installed according to the map. As of September 8, 1999 topsoil has been stripped
from the disturbed area but no mining has yet taken place. Facilities are being moved in at
this time.
(2) No reclamation could be done in the past year since mining has just begun. As soon
as this area is completely mined, the area will be reclaimed.
