Box 2059
Canon City, CO 81212
Re: Twin Pines #2 Mine (Permit C-83-058)
Semi-Annual Hydrologic Reports Dated June 15, 1989
Dear Mr. Reed:
I nave reviewed the June 15, 1989 Biannual Hydrologic Monitoring Report
submitted by you in response to permit stipulation 1 and 2. The report
does not snow any significant increases from the previous monitoring report.
Tne values for sodium aosorption ratio and dissolved fluoride are at about the
same level tney were in the last report. Even tnough a figure of 25% SAR is
considered very high for irrigation water, the impact is negligible given the
small size of the permitted area. All other water quality parameters appear
to be within the acceptable limits in both wells.
If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me.
Sincerely,
Berha~Keffele~
Reclamation Specialist
BK/ern
83b6F
215 Centennial Building, 1313 Sherman Street Denver, Colorado 80203-2273 Tel.
