II. SU~tM1tARY OF RESULTS <br />::: • <br />Results of slug testing for the ten wells selected for testing are <br />shown in the following Table II-1. From the two most valid test results, <br />the transmissivity in the "F" seam is estimated to range between 15.6 and <br />61 gallons per day per foot (gpd/ft.). In the Barren Member, a wider range <br />of transmissivities is estimated, probably because two of the wells in the <br />Barren Member are completed at shallow depths where the bedrock has developed <br /> more open fractures and has resulted in transmissivities which are high <br /> relative to those of deeper wells. The transmissivities indicated from the <br /> three most valid tests in the Barren Member wells range from 0.40 to 600 <br /> gpd/ft. <br /> No transmissivities were estimated for two of the wells tested. Well <br /> SOM 16-H was tested but no water level response had occurred 1260 minutes <br /> after increasing the head in the well by 1.94 feet. In well SOM 45 H-1 <br /> only 2.17 feet of water at the bottom of the hole was insufficient to per- <br /> form the test. <br />.:: • <br /> Some of the wells tested indicated such extremely low values of trans- <br />. missivity or uncharacteristic responses that the validity of these test <br /> results is questionable. In the summary table these wells are identified <br /> by a question mark (?) in the remarks column, while the most valid results <br /> are shown with an asterisk (*).
