The following summarizes reclaimed <br />acreages and corresponding dates for completion of permanent revegetation seeding: <br />• Seeded 1986 - 11.24 acres <br />• Seeded 1984 - 1.27 acres <br />• Seeded 1983 - 23.26 acres <br />• Seeded 1981 (Includes minor areas reseeded in 1983) - 43.07 acres <br />• Seeded prior to 1981 (Includes minor areas reseeded in 1983) • 30.25 acres <br />A total of approxitna[ely 109 acres Itas been reseeded to date. T'hc <br />proposed plats reflects Kert's desire to encourage woody plant reestablishment, increase <br />vegetative diversity, and demonstrate revegetation success. The paruneten and practices <br />presented its this plan have been developed in consultation with both the Btrreatr of T.and <br />Management (BLM) and the Colorado State University -Cooperative Extension Service <br />(Extension Service). <br />AREA AND CONTROL MEASURES <br />Kerr proposes to fence and graze an area of approximately 160 acres of fee land as <br />delinea[ed ntt the accompanying copy of the 1990 Reclamation'siap. The area to be <br />grazed encompasses approximately 105 acres of reclaimed land and 55 acres of native. <br />range. Livestock movements will be controlled by electric fencing ;o be established on <br />the north and south ends of the proposed management aria. The additional icttcc will <br />tie to existing fence-lines paralleling the east and west permit boundaries. <br />
