No observable <br />impacts to topsoil stockpiles, stockwatering ponds or surface access roads <br />were detected during the visual survey. The survey monitoring results are <br />consistent with previous results. <br />In general, the observed maximum vertical subsidence (6.47 feet at Monument <br />R-12) and maximum angle of draw (19.25°) are consistent with 1:he projected <br />maximum vertical subsidence of 8 feet and maximum angle of draw of 20°. <br />The survey did detect up to a foot of subsidence along Monument Row Q, outside <br />the area of predicted subsidence occurrence. The operator ati:ributes this <br />subsidence to the presence of reclaimed surface mine spoils ai: these <br />locations. The operator should elaborate upon this observed subsidence <br />justification. Is it the result of consolidation of the backt'illed spoil <br />alone? Or, is it the result of downslope movement of the bac4:filled spoils? <br />Has horizontal movement been detected at these monument locations? If so, the <br />operator should provide the appropriate survey data.
