This information was collected over the period from November 20 to November
24, 1993. Weather conditions have been conducive to the construction of the embankment
and placement of the drainage blanket material. Due to some precipitation, liner patching has
been slow. All snow, for all practical purposes, has melted off the VLDPE liner.
CONSTRUCTION ACTIVITIES
During this period, the following activities were conducted:
o Holes and failed seams in the VLDPE were patched and tested,
o Construction on the main embankment continued, and
o placement of Type 2 material continued.
These activitleS are outlined below.
• VLDPE Llnsr Repair
Holes created in the liner during removal of snow and from other miscellaneous construction
activities were identified, patched, and vacuum tested. Serrot Corporation performed the
patching. At week's end (11/24) Serrot was in the process of patching several seams in the
far east portion of the impoundment which had failed during destructive testing. Weather
conditions were making patching operations somewhat difficult.
P 0 2
2629 Redwing Rd.
