There is a "soil" pile adjacent
to another topsoil stockpile which is derived from unknown origin.
Cathy did not know if it was from pond cleanings, ditch cleanings,
or from road maintenance. She faxed a list of parameters that
Basin Resources plans to test it for. I have requested they show
us the individual parameters of the SAR value. These parameters
coincide with those required in Rule 4.06.2(3), what is included in
their topsoil testing in the permit.
The operator plans to add additional soil to the two piles and
create one big pile. I will inform Cathy that we need to see the
results of the testing before they actually cover the pile with the
new topsoil material.
Let me know if you have any questions.
il~
