~; <br />FILE M-87-186 <br />MINE Peters Pit No. 2 <br />DATE 2/28/91 <br />116(1)(a) 2.41 Annual Reports <br />III IIIII~~IIIIII III <br />~~~ <br />RECEIVED <br />MAR 0 4 1991 <br />Mined'Land <br />Reclamation Division <br />2.41 On the anniversary date of each permit year, the operator <br />shall submit a report and map (to a scale of not less than <br />100' to the inch and not more than 660' to the inch), <br />indicating the phases of the reclamation plan which have been <br />completed, correlated with the timetable. The report and <br />map shall contain the following: <br />1. Location and number of acres affected during that year. <br />:fmar <br />Northwest corner of pit, approximately 5 acres. <br />2. Locations and number of acres reclaimed for that year. <br />The east slope facing the west and part of the north <br />slope facing south, 1 acre <br />3.. The location and number of acres in the various stages <br />of reclamation (backfilled, graded, topsoil replaced, <br />revegetated). <br />Put topsoil on the above slopes <br />4. The species of vegetation planted, the locations and <br />approximate dates of planting. <br />None at this time because we still have crushed <br />material stockpiled here. There is some natural vegetation <br />growing, such as sweet clover and some natural grasses. <br />5. The type and approximate quantity of fertilizers, <br />organic material or soil condi[ioners used and <br />location of use. <br />None <br />6. An appraisal of the success of reclamation efforts, and <br />in the event of failure of any efforts, a short narrative <br />on the suspected or determined cause of such failure. <br />Reclamation efforts are good to this point <br />7. Estimates of the location and number of acres to be <br />affected in the coming year. <br />This particular plan has been completed as far as mining. <br />We will start a new reclamation permit to mine gravel to <br />the northwest of this permit. <br />8.
