The May
duplicate of TR-3 showed 13 out of 13; the August duplicate of TR-C showed 11
out of 13; and the October duplicate for TR-B showed 13 out of 13. The quality
assurance program will be continued during the 1993 report period.
VII. SPRING AND SEEP SURVEY
A survey was conducted on May 5, 1992 to located springs and seeps which
may be developing at the base of the ridge along Trout Creek from the north
Moffat boundary to the base of West Ridge. A total of 10 springs and 24 seeps
were located as a result of the survey (see enclosed map). Only one spring
had sufficient flow to be of interest. That spring is currently monitored on
a regular basis and is designated as NPDES discharge point No. 006.
VII2. MOFFAT STABILITY
Four wells were installed in 1984 and two additional wells in 1992 to
monitor the ground water levels over time. Elevations of the water in the
Moffat wells are shown in Figure 13 with the data contained in Appendix II.
Water levels in the Moffat area have stabilized over the previous years. The
data suggests that groundwater levels are stable with recharge approximating
discharge. Continued monitoring of the existing wells and the installation of
spoil wells will provide additional information concerning the site stability.
24
