As you are aware, this mine has been under <br />"Notice of Temporary Cessation" since August 8, 1980. No new surface <br />disturbance has occurred since the annual report of 1988. <br />Surface disturbance remains the same as originally permitted and <br />as amended in 1979. However, two (2) of the vent hole areas permitted <br />have not been utilized (see enclosed map). <br />As all permitted acreage is utilized during operations, reclamation <br />of this property cannot commence until the mine is closed. <br />Routine surveillance and maintenance of the area is being carried <br />out.
