Utilizing a CSI TDR 100, readings were obtained from Well 20-12's'/a-inch
TDR cable. A propagation velocity (vP) of 0.87 was utilized and 2,048 data points were
collected from the cable length. A waveform average of 4 was used to eliminate background
noise.
The waveform from the December 16, 2004, reading is slightly different than previous
readings. All cable crimp locations remain consistent. The difference in the waveform was
caused by the replacement of a sampling diode within the CSI TDR 100 unit. Future readings
should follow the December 16, 2004, waveform.
The readings obtained to date show no ground movement. Also on the attached figure
are previous readings obtained from We1120-12. -
Thank you for the opportunity to work with you on this project. Please call me if you
have any questions, comments, or concerns.
Yours sincerely,
1
Albert Adu-Acheampong
Engineer -
AAAlsmb
Attachment(1): Figure i
C41CAG0 OFFICc
a30.792.1 520
GOLO$N OFFIC'c
303.273.1 51 1
G EOENGINEERING • MINING ENGINEERING CIVIL ENGINEERING
