Annual Report <br /> Dear Mr. Shelton: <br /> Best-Way Paving Co. submits the following information concerning its mining <br /> and reclamation activity for the year 1981. <br /> 1. The company extracted gravel in phase two and three as designated on the <br /> mining plan, affecting approximately four acres. <br /> 2. Mining is not complete in phase one, two and three; therefore, no recla- <br /> mation has commenced in those areas. The boundry of the properties have <br /> four feet high and ten feet wide berms which have been set in and trees <br /> and shrubs have been planted according to the requirements of the Weld <br /> County Special Use Permit. A six foot high privacy fence has been erected <br /> on the east, west and south boundries of the property. <br /> 3. No internal reclamation has been commenced and therefore there has been <br /> no planting of any vegetation. <br /> 4. It was anticipated that phase two and three would be mined out and recla- <br /> mation commenced during 1981. Due to economic conditions and reduced <br /> business these phases were not mined out. We are hopeful that they will <br /> be mined out during 1982 and as soon as they are reclamation will begin. <br /> If any additional information is required, please let us know and we will <br /> supply that information immediately. <br /> Very truly yours, <br /> Thomas A.
