2.5 Bio Block <br />A Bio-Block shall be used at the end of the upper, topsoil lifts to prevent <br />loss of the fine material through the COIR wrapped soil lifts. The block <br />shall be placed at the face of the soil lift, retaining the finer soils, and <br />wrapped with the COIR fabric as illustrated on the detail drawings for the <br />vegetated bar. A Rolanka BioD-Block or Filtrexx compost filled filter sock <br />are examples of products available that would serve the purpose of the Bio- <br />Block. Installation shall be in accordance with the manufacturer's <br />specifications.
