Long <br />RE: COlOWyO Mine (C-81-019) Division Drreciar <br /> 1994 AHR Review <br />Susan, the Colowyo 1994 AHR has arrived. According to your memo <br />dated February 14, 1995, you are to review all of the Colowyo AHR. <br />It appears that the operator performed the monitoring required in <br />the permit. This report also contains the ARR, pond inspections, <br />fill inspections, NPDES reports etc.. Also enclosed is your 1993 <br />AHR review. Hopefully, all of your concerns have been addressed. <br />I have a few comments regarding the report; <br />1. The pond inspection reports have not been revised to conduct <br />annual sediment surveys of their ponds as noted in your 1993 <br />AHR review. Colowyo was made aware of this fact in December <br />of 1994. We should hopefully see a change in the 1995 pond <br />inspection reports. <br />2. Taylor Creek was not monitored in 1993 and 1994 because no <br />flow was noted. <br />3. Colowyo is required to conduct quarterly piezometer well <br />testing on the fills. I was unable to locate this data in <br />this report. Let me know if you can find it anywhere. <br />Please let me know if you have any questions or need additional <br />information.
