zones along the top of the Gillespie Hill waste dump. Watering maintenance of tree and shrub <br />seedlings consumed a large portion of the field season in 2002, with water truck haulage of water <br />to three main azeas covered app. 50 acres of reclaimed mined lands. Fifty tree seedlings were <br />planted in the recently reclaimed high wall azea of Zinc Hill, just below the main access road. <br />These seedlings can be easily maintained for the next few years due to easy access by a water <br />truck from the access road. <br />2003 reclamation work will include site wide maintenance of all seedlings as needed depending on <br />rainfall cycles. Seeding and mulching operations are planned for app. 30 acres of reclaimed <br />ground where vegetative establishment has not developed to standazd as yet. These azeas will <br />include Copper Hill, Zinc Hill, Iron Hill, the former crusher site azea, and smaller road reclaim <br />areas north of the shop buildings. Mulching operations will also continue in the lower Alpha Hill <br />zones and lower Copper Hill. App. 60 tons of straw mulch will applied during the 2003 season <br />and 600 pounds of seed mix. (Seed mix list included in this report). <br />Financial Warranty on the site currently is $457,000.00.
