The Financial War- <br /> ranty for this operation is $20, 300. 00; the permitted area in <br /> Logan County; covers 38 . 00 ac. ± and the pit is not phased. As <br /> required in Rule 1. 6 the MINEPERMIT SIGN is at the entrance to the <br /> pit and the boundary has been outlined with posts to delineate <br /> the Permit Boundary. Mining continued as approved in the conver- <br /> sion application completed in 1996. <br /> The annual report requirements in the MLRB Rules and Regula- <br /> tions, and the annual review letter are addressed in the follow- <br /> ing report. Please refer to the enclosed ANNUALREPORT MAP for <br /> areas discussed in this report. <br /> (1) We continued to mine on the northern part of the permitted <br /> area mining an additional 3. 14 acres ± this year, cross <br /> hatched with (///) . We have continued to work on the exist- <br /> ing face day-lighting the site out the north drainage and <br /> working down the hill side on the east. We reached the <br /> mining limits on a small section of the north slope and <br /> increased the floor area as shown by 2 . 74 ac ± so the floor <br /> of the pit covers approximately 17 . 15 acres at this time <br /> (green) . <br /> (2) No reclamation was required this year. We have approxi- <br /> mately 225 feet temporary bank sloping complete on the north <br /> and 685 feet on the south. The current grade on these <br /> slopes is 2h to lv (orange) . The remaining slopes are in <br /> the active mining area so no sloping will be done until the <br /> reach the exterior of the mine. <br />
