The Financial War- ranty for this operation is $20, 300. 00; the permitted area in Logan County; covers 38 . 00 ac. ± and the pit is not phased. As required in Rule 1. 6 the MINEPERMIT SIGN is at the entrance to the pit and the boundary has been outlined with posts to delineate the Permit Boundary. Mining continued as approved in the conver- sion application completed in 1996. The annual report requirements in the MLRB Rules and Regula- tions, and the annual review letter are addressed in the follow- ing report. Please refer to the enclosed ANNUALREPORT MAP for areas discussed in this report. (1) We continued to mine on the northern part of the permitted area mining an additional 3. 14 acres ± this year, cross hatched with (///) . We have continued to work on the exist- ing face day-lighting the site out the north drainage and working down the hill side on the east. We reached the mining limits on a small section of the north slope and increased the floor area as shown by 2 . 74 ac ± so the floor of the pit covers approximately 17 . 15 acres at this time (green) . (2) No reclamation was required this year. We have approxi- mately 225 feet temporary bank sloping complete on the north and 685 feet on the south. The current grade on these slopes is 2h to lv (orange) . The remaining slopes are in the active mining area so no sloping will be done until the reach the exterior of the mine.
