The fill is being constructed as specified in
the design approved by your division.
There are no apparent points of seepage, or potential
areas of slope failure. The drainage and diverson system
is in place and working properly. Permanent out slopes
have not yet begun to be built.
We are currently constructing our first lift with
horizontal layering and progressing from South to North in
order to maintain good drainage. We are also investigating
the proper type of compacting roller (specified as a
"sheepfoot", in the permit) to be purchased. This roller
will be used in conjunction with the FD-30 bulldozer. It
will be purchased and brought into operation prior to
construction above the first 24" lift.
A Proctor and sieve analysis has been completed on
our refuse material in preparation for density tests once
our first lift is in place.
