The extent of the operations and their phasing (topsuil removal, stripping,
pining, etc.) make it i.rQractical to list acreages at the anniversary date.
However, an effort has been made to outline areas of major activity, especially
first 3isturbance, on the accompanying maps. Due to the phasing and shifting
material requirements, there is often considerable overlap between operational
areas of the c>mrent year and the next year. Banded areas are planned to pro-
vide coverage for several years in the future, thus providing margin for
operational flexibility.
Please note tnat the reports for the Portland quarry and the Eoettcher Limestone
Quarry call for bondin; revision with a total of 216 acres added to the existing
bond. If, after review .of o»r recoRmendations, you concur, please advise us of
the individual quarry amDimts. Ideal will then arrange a single bond adjustment
to cover the total amoi.mt as was done with surety on the ori~ a1 permits.
Sincerely,
U-~
