INTERNATIONAL URANIUM (USA) CORPORATION
2007 ANNUAL REPORT
Sunday Mine - M-1977-285
The Sunday Mine was last operated in June 1999. The Sunday Mine has remained on "standby"
status since that time. During the current reporting period, no new acreage was disturbed outside of the
existing disturbed areas.
The Operator is presently evaluating resumption of mining operations at the Sunday Mine and
other mines in this area. Initial site activities have included opening of the temporarily closed mine
portal. No new facilities or structures have been installed at the mine site.
A Plan of Operations (POO) was submitted to the San Juan Field Office of the Bureau of Land
Management (BLM) on April 6`h, 2007 to incorporate operations at the Topaz Mine with the existing
POOs for the Sunday, St. Jude, Camation (covered under the Sunday POO), and West Sunday POO. No
modifications were made to the POO for the Sunday under this submittal.
Resumption of mining activities will take place at the Sunday Mine in June 2007. Denison plans
to mine approximately 6,000 tons of ore from the Sunday in the upcoming seasons. The Sunday 112
Reclamation Permit includes the Carnation Mine and the Saint Jude Mine. Mining operations from all
three mines (including the Sunday) in the upcoming year are anticipated to be approximately 12,500 tons
of ore.
All mining activity will be completed within the existing Reclamation 112 Permit boundary;
however the addition of two new vent holes to the Sunday Mine will slightly increase the affected area
acreage and require a permit amendment. Denison will submit a 112 Amendment to the Division prior to
initiating vent hole installation activities. Any other changes to the planned operations and disturbances
will be submitted to the Division as appropriate throughout the year.
Exploration drilling will take place concurrent with mine operations at the Sunday Mine, and it is
anticipated that 30 exploration holes will be drilled in the Sunday Mine claims in early summer and an
additional 30 exploration holes will be drilled in Sunday Mine claims in the late fall. All exploration
activities will be completed under a statewide prospecting bond and written notice will be provided to
DRMS and the BLM.
