Mr. Kent Gorham <br />October 21, 1996 <br />Page 6 <br />point 18 and site 15 was located at a small fault believed to be a substructure of the major fault further to <br />the east. The site IS fault exhibits approximately 1.5' of displacement a the center entry (#2) and tapers in <br />entries # 1 and #3. The east side of the fault is downthrown. The observed flow occurred only at the center <br />entry. The site 18 flow has ceased entirely; the site I S flow persists to date at approximately 4.5 gpm. <br />Water samples have been collected and evaluated from sites 15 and 19. The samples do not appeaz to be <br />associated with the Trout Creek Sandstone according to an evaluation conducted by Hydro-Geo <br />Consu-tants, Inc. <br />Thank you for your cooperation in this matter.
