<br />SLOPE STABILITY <br />INTERIM INSPECTION REPORT <br />AREA Wadce Hiohwall drainaoe fill DATE __12/04/95 <br />TIME 1:45 p.m. by Michael Altavilla WEATHER Cloudy and very windy 40oF <br />1. Debris, organic matter coal, etc., present in fill None visible. Snow has blanketed a <br />maiority of the inspection area. <br />2. General gradation and characteristics of material Reclamation complete for now. East <br />side of pit has been reoraded. Hiohwall (west side) was regraded in August and September <br />and looks good. Some topsoil has been replaced at the very northern end of the fill area. <br />3. Presence of water, surface and ground None visible. <br />4. Condition of underdrain (approx. current width, depth, and length), material gradation <br />and characteristic, compaction, presence of water N/A <br />5. General material movement None observed. <br />6. Proximity and treatment of seep points Spoil spring 1000 ft downaradient flowing at a <br />rate of approximately 5-10 com (visual estimate). <br />7. Condition of slope fill surface (grading, cracks or sloughing, erosion, revegetation) <br />Conditions of recently graded surface were good. Good vegetation cover around check <br />8. Recommendation Continued observation of the fill area as final finish grade work is <br />completed next spring. Differential settlement and erosion should be monitored and <br />repaired as necessary. Thia area should be completely retopsoiled and seeded during the <br />reclamation season in 1996. <br />9.
