The following information is provided based upon personal com~ersions with
Kelly Fritzler (TCC Operations Manager) and inspections by Mark Milner, (TCC
Environmental Coordinator).
To the best of the knowledge of the individuals involved in the management of the
loadout, there was no discharge of water from the sediment pond or the dugout pond
during 1999. No water monitoring was performed or required during 1999.
Water is used at fire loadout for dust suppression, showers and office use. Dust
suppression includes water sprays on coal conveyors and water applied to roadwa}'s. The
loadout has two sources of water. Domestic well supplies water for the office and
showers and water from the Deer Trail Ditch is used for dust suppression. There was no
record kept of consumptive use of water during the year.
Please call if you have any questions or comments.
Sincerely,
~~ ~~~
Mark Milner
Environmental Coordinator
Coal Processors, Shippers & Marketers
1840 Highway 133
Paonio.
