The mine water is currently routed to pond MB-2R. MB-2R is expected to <br />discharge through otrtfall 004 later this akemoon. MCC is unsure if this effluent will meet <br />permit limits. <br />Pond MB-1 is full. The first MB-1 pre-discharge sample measured 102 mg/l TSS. MCC <br />collected a second pre-discharge sample and are awaiting the results. <br />MCC is trying to treat both ponds by dumping alum, and other approved treatment <br />chemicals, at each pond's inlet. The hydroseeder they usually use for chemical addition has <br />not been available yet this week.
