DMG Permit No. M-88-112 <br />Quarterly, Monthly and Bi-weekly Sampling <br />Dear Mi. Dillie: <br />Enclosed are analytical reports from Sangre De Cristo Labs (SDC) and Accu-Labs laboratories for <br />the recent quarterly, monthly and bi-weekly sampling periods as specified in the April 1992 <br />Abatement Plan. Results of humidity cell tests from CORE lab are also enclosed. The cross-reference <br />table between sample identification numbers, sample types, and sample locations is also <br />attached. <br />All required sampling was completed. Analyses that have been received are enclosed and chose <br />that have not been received will be forwarded to you as soon as they are sent to me. Field and <br />rinse blanks were collected as part of the QA/OC and are also included here. The Surface water <br />stations RS-4 and RS-6 were inspected and found to be dry. On January 23, 1998 the lysimeteis <br />were checked and all were found fo be dry. <br />When we checked the piezometers on the main embankment of the tailings impoundment on <br />February 02, 1998 the piezometers were dry or contained well below 12 inches of water. <br />The two new piezometers that were required by TR-18 to be drilled into the West Pit area were <br />measured for DTW on February 03, 1998 and BF-I the east piezometer read 13. 2 feet and BF-2 <br />(west) measured 17 feet. The SRK piezometers chat are in the west pit area were measured on <br />February 04, 1998 and the DTW readings are as follows: PW-1 I5. I feet, PW-2 16. 1 feet, PW-3 <br />24. 4 feet and PW-4 read 27. 1 feet.
