GW-N13(WN0013) • <br />Construction Details: <br />Additional Details Continued: <br />Cement mixture used for the plug above the packer/basket ar•rt~ngement. on all <br />Dakota Coal Underburden wells consisted of the following: 2'/: gags (235 lbs) <br />Type V (sulfate resistant) cement, '/. bag (12.5 Ibs) bentonitE~, and t5 gallons <br />water (plus or minus to obtain a "thick, frosting-like" consistency). This <br />mixture was tremmied to within 5 feet of the packer/brisket arrangement via <br />a 1" id galvanized metal pipe. PCC's air-driven porl:able grout machine (stored <br />at the Seneca II Mine) powered by the drill rigs air compressor was used to <br />pump the cement. The cement used for the five foot surface seal was regular <br />Type II Portland cement. <br /> <br />• <br /> <br />U-2 Revised 11/01/86 <br />
